Our wide-ranging interest in antiquity means that you may study ancient and medieval languages, literatures, history, archaeology, philosophy, and theology with faculty members from both inside and outside the Department of Ancient and Medieval Languages and Cultures.
The departmental staff as a whole consists of full-time and part-time faculty, dual-appointed faculty from other departments who contribute to our programs, Professors Emeriti, Research Associates (postdoctoral scholars pursuing their own research in affiliation with the department) and ICOR Fellows, a full-time Academic Coordinator, and Teaching Fellows and Teaching Assistants drawn from amongst our own graduate students.
